Silver Granite Escape
The Problem: Unused and unsafe area in a residential garden…
A Small suburban back garden ( Approx 60 square metres in total ) , which was a little tired and outdated. It was also suffering from bad drainage, depleted soils and overgrown trees and shrubbery. This all resulting in Mossy damp areas and unusable areas..
It was time for a little T.L.C injection in a semi contemporary style.
The Solution
We designed this garden, as always, with our clients in mind ..
They were in need of a small area to relax with morning tea and in the evening with a good book and a glass of wine.. ☺. Also , the lady of the house was an excellent cook so the introduction of a small herb garden was in order .. ☺
The silver granite circle patio and complementary granite cobble stone worked perfectly to serve this and were in keeping with the house design and area.
The New planting was of the variety that would take both shade and semi- shade , but also give colour and structure.
The proportions of Granite stone , to planting , to grass areas is always very important , especially in a small area , which worked perfectly in this area when completed.
We also supplied and fitted a simple stylish wood latte structure to raise the height of the wall in areas.
“ Greenacres Landscapes have maintained the large green areas and the variety of smaller gardens of our 60 resident estate for the past 10 years or more. Andy and his team are really efficient and excellent at what they do. All year round these gardens bring great value to us all. I would highly recommend the services of Greenacres Landscapes. ”
